Active Membership – available to anyone who holds a current license
or temporary permit issued by the Iowa Department of Health to practice as a hearing aid dealer and who is currently engaged in
active practice and who has been accepted by a majority vote of the Board of Directors is qualified to be a member of the IHA with full
voting privileges.
Associate Membership – open to any other person who may have an
interest in the Association or in the practice of fitting hearing aids but is not eligible for active membership and who has been
accepted by a majority vote of the IHA Board of Directors. Such members shall have no voting privileges.
Honorary Life Membership – for members who are no longer engaged in active
practice and who are deemed worthy by the Board of Directors to be granted the honor of being designated "Honorary Life members" of the
Association. Such members shall pay no dues or assessments and shall have no voting privileges.
